After a short visit to Czech Republick (to stock up on smokes and booze and go bowling - what else?!), we travelled with Andreas Eckstein up to Troestau, to visit Andy and his family. We were treated with the usual hospitality, and continued our sightseeing adventures in Nuremberg. We visited the Nazi Party Rally grounds (lost for words on this one - the small podium is where Hitler stood in salute as 100,000 troops marched by) and had to take in a few ales in the local Irish bar afterwards to recover. Geordie (almost) managed to eat his way through a meal bigger than his head...quiet a feat. The snow continued and we started getting used to the -5 degree temperatures and the trend continued as we traveled to Prague. J's girlfriend Cristina met up with us in Prague and we enjoyed a couple of days of sightseeing and silliness.....more to come later!
