After Berlin, Geordie and I headed to Amsterdam to escape the cold weather for a few days. We stayed with Resi and Harm for the week, and had a great time (Heel erg bedankt!! THANKS RESI and Harm!!!) sighteseeing, eating and (of course...) smoking. We checked out the Vodel Park and were treated with the first flowers of spring. We sampled the local cuisine (yes, people here DO eat fries with mayonnaise!!) and just relaxed in general. Towards the end of the week, we headed down to Rotterdam and hired bicycles (yeah, old ones like your mum rides!) to visit the Kinderdijk and some real Dutch windmills.......
