PhD Thesis

I completed my PhD in Brisbane between August 1997 and December 2000, focusing on research on electrochromic materials. Electrochromic material change colour according to an electrochemical reaction and therefore have application where it is desirable to be able to modify the optical properties of a material according to some criteria. Examples include switchable windows, car mirrors and display materials. My PhD investigated the high temperature behaviour of such materials, which I now use in my research into increasing the stability of switchable windows.
